Staybridge Suites London Heathrow - Bath Road, an IHG Aparthotel

Room was a nice size, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The shower was very good and having controls away from the rainfall shower head was good.

Staybridge is a fantastic hotel with clean & modern facilities. Opposite Heathrow (a lot of the other guests - as well as flight crew - were jetting home so an ideal spot for them). We chose it for it's great location on the outskirts of London with easy onward routes: we went to Hampton Court Palace & to a Depeche Mode concert at Twickenham. Helpful, friendly staff. Good parking facilities. Suites were spacious, clean & well presented with separate living & dining accommodation. The compact, cleverly designed kitchen areas included a quality dishwasher, hob, fridge & extractor, & came equipped with good crockery, cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils etc. Room service was available (we didn't try it though the menu read well). Large well-lit bathrooms & complimentary toiletries, shampoo, conditioner etc. all in generous quantities. We made use of the small laptop safe, & there was a thoughtful addition of an ironing board & iron (laundry facilities are available for guests) - but we didn't have the need to use them. Hotel had some lovely relaxing guest areas on the ground floor with a choice of huge comfy sofas & huge TV's to match, a Library area, with complimentary hot drinks, plus a "Pantry" stocking toiletries, tinned foods, snacks etc. The buffet-style breakfast was superb & the restaurant hours were generous & offered great flexibility for guests. Staff were courteous & non-obtrusive, helpful & friendly - nothing was too much trouble. There was a gym (we didn't use it so can't comment on that). We loved it there & can't wait to go again.

If you need to stay near Heathrow airport, this is an excellent property. It is clean, modern and the breakfast was quite nice!

We liked the included breakfast, the size and arrangement of the room, that allowed for privacy in the bedroom, the size of the bathroom, the comfort of the bed and pillows, the number of charge portals in the room, the closeness to the airport and availability of the hotel hopper shuttle, the facilities of the Holiday Inn next door, e.g dining and bar, and the fact that we were allowed early checkin and late checkout. Also, the pantry kitchen was good. What a great place to stay!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Staybridge. Last time, we were in a studio apartment, and this time, we were in a one-bedroom apartment, which was large and very comfortable. The kitchenette, similar to the Studio Apartment, consists of a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and cooktop, and ample crockery and cookware. The Staybridge is a very convenient accommodation for Heathrow Airport, and having self-catering facilities is a definite bonus compared to a usual hotel. As with the last time we stayed, the Staybridge supplies a complimentary breakfast; unfortunately, due to our plane's departure time, we could not take advantage of it this time.
